Your Local Community Theatre

What was once a simple, 19th. Century Kentish Oasthouse - in use until 1966 - became home to the Oast Theatre, one of the most prolific theatre arts clubs in the County.
A major public production is presented every month (except August & September) and the Oast Youth Theatre (13-18 year olds) produces 3 plays. The Hoppers (8-13 year olds) are members of the group for younger children.

The Oast has its own Art Group, which meets each week to paint in the studio (one of the Roundels) and holds an exhibition each year.

The Theatre is a registered charity and is run on an entirely voluntary basis, with its objectives being the fostering of theatre and the arts generally, within the area.
It is wholly owned and managed by its members.
